LNU Completes Logistics and Supply Chain Hybrid Learning Engagement

A total of 98 participants, composed of students and faculty members from Leyte Normal University (LNU), received an international certificate after completing the program, Logistics and Supply Chain Hybrid Learning Engagement, organized by the Ports World Academy (PWA), Malaysia, in partnership with LNU.

The program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the logistics industry; provide students with practical, hands-on learning experiences that allow them to apply their learning to real-world situations; foster a culture of innovation and creativity; attract and retain skilled professionals; and promoting international collaboration and cultural exchange in the logistics industry.

Moreover, Prof. Durairai Govindasamy, Managing Director of Ports World Academy, disclosed that two participants from LNU received an almost perfect score during the final summative assessment during the culmination activity at the Ballroom Hall, Admin Building, on May 08, 2023,. He regarded this as the “first time” in the program’s entire rollout in different local and international academic institutions.

Other than fostering global citizens through international academic engagements, answering Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. (4) Quality Education; ( 8 ) Decent Work and Economic Growth; (9) Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure; and (17) Partnership for the Goals are also the core of the said collaboration between LNU and PWA.
