Normalista’s “New Idea” Receives International Recognition

Swayne Andrea Bardillon, Leyte Normal University-Integrated Laboratory School (LNU-ILS) student, together with her international groupmates from Japan, India, and Taiwan, claimed the Best New Idea Award during the Rits Super Global Forum (RSGF) 2023 hosted by Ritsumeikan High School, Kyoto, Japan, on November 12-16, 2023.

The team presented Pure Sight, an eco-friendly, sustainable, and recyclable eyewear made of recycled materials with integrated features like augmented reality displays, voice commands, and real-time information. Pure Sight envisions providing users with a seamless blend of technology and eyewear, making daily tasks more convenient.

Bardillon, Kiara Ereene Toledo, and Ethan Caleb Polistico, who also joined the RSGF, presented the winning output in front of the LNU community during the flag-raising ceremony on November 28, 2023.
