LNU Holds CAS, CME, and Graduate School 82nd Commencement Exercises

Leyte Normal University (LNU) held the second day of its 82nd Commencement Exercises on June 14, 2024 at the HRDC Alba Hall, for the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Management and Entrepreneurship, and Graduate School. This was a momentous occasion in celebration of the academic success of the graduates of the above mentioned colleges.

Leyte Normal University President Dr. Evelyn B. Aguirre introduced the esteemed Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker, SEAMEO Innotech Deputy Director Hon. Kochakorn Khattapan Acidre.

Hon. Kochakorn Acidre delivered a powerful message that resonated with the graduating class. She highlighted the importance of global experiences, therefore encouraging graduates to “explore the world while we still can”, emphasizing the value of travel, meeting new people, and immersing themselves in different cultures to broaden their understanding of the world.

Finally, Hon. Kochakorn Acidre underscored the significance of giving back urging graduates to use their “empathy, imagination, and determination” to contribute positively to the world. She emphasized that their unique talents have the power to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

This occasion was indeed a milestone for the LNU Graduates, their parents, relatives and friends and to the entire Leyte Normal University Community.
