LNU Inks Collaboration with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

Leyte Normal University successfully renewed another international collaboration this time with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia on Student Exchange and Practicum Teaching, last March 4, 2022. The virtual Memorandum of Agreement signing was attended by Leyte Normal University President Dr. Evelyn B. Aguirre, UPI Vice-Rector for Research, Business, and Partnership Dr. Bunyamin Maftuh, M.A., UPI Vice-Rector for Education and Students’ Affairs Prof. Didi Sukyadi, LNU Vice-Presidents, and the Deans and Directors of both universities.

Prof. Bunyamin Mahtuf, delivered the welcome message on behalf of UPI’s rector Prof. Dr. H.M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., M.A, stating that the MOA signing will be symbolic of the two institutions’ strategic partnership in preparing educators to be ready for the global world.

In her speech, LNU President Dr. Evelyn B. Aguirre said that the MOA will elevate the collaboration between the two institutions specifically on student exchange and practice teaching. She added that the university aims to expand its collaboration with UPI in the future along the fields of research, faculty exchange, and many more, relative to academic linkages.

This partnership will add to the active international linkages of Leyte Normal University abroad such as collaborations with Siliwangi University, BINUS University of Indonesia, and Ritsumeikan-Uji Highschool of Japan.
