Leyte Normal University Joins ASEAN Kick-off Ceremony

Leyte Normal University (LNU) joined the 57th ASEAN Anniversary Kick-Off Ceremony alongside other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the Philippines. The event, organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), commenced with a symbolic simultaneous Flag-raising ceremony conducted via Zoom ICloud Conferencing on August 5, 2024.

During the ceremony, LNU showcased traditional Singaporean costumes, emphasizing cultural diversity and solidarity within the ASEAN community.

This year’s ASEAN Month Celebration is themed “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience,” with Lao People’s Democratic Republic serving as the Chair.
