Leyte Normal University Hosts Transformative Cultural Exchange with Chung Hua University of Taiwan

Leyte Normal University hosted 19 students from Chung Hua University, Hsinchu City, Taiwan, for a cultural exchange program from July 9 to 12, 2024. The students, along with Dr. Pei Ying Wu, a faculty member from Chung Hua, participated in this enriching cultural experience.

During their visit, the students immersed themselves in various cultural activities, including local sports, craftsmanship, and culinary exploration of both countries: Philippines and Taiwan. They also visited significant cultural sites in Leyte and Samar and took part in English language lessons to improve their communication skills.

The cultural exchange program not only facilitated a deeper understanding between the students of Chung Hua University and Leyte Normal University but also provided a platform for mutual learning and appreciation of each other’s cultural heritage. The above Student Cultural Exchange Program is a part of the Internationalization Program Initiatives of the university.
