Normalistas Immerse in Indonesian Culture During the “Eat, Love, and Pray” Student Exchange Program

Led by Prof. Danedhel R. Mocorro, Bryce Andrei Christopher Poblete and Alexis Ruth Rosales from LNU-ILS, and Chynna Althea Caones from BSSW participated in the “Eat, Love, and Pray: Living Diversity in Indonesia” summer exchange program.

From July 8 to July 20, they took part in lectures, workshops, and other activities to study the diverse and rich culture of Indonesia. They attended a five-day online session on Indonesian religion, traditional arts, and cuisine. Following this, they had an on-site cultural experience in Bandung and other places.

During this cultural immersion, Prof. Mocorro and Rosales, with Nur Nabilah and Aqilah Zahra, clinched the Best Group Video Documentary of the Bandung Tour.

Sending these Normalistas to this cultural program demonstrates the university’s commitment to providing international experiences that promote global awareness, instill cultural understanding, and broaden global perspectives, which forms part of the internationalization initiatives of Leyte Normal University.
